For this brief we were asked to created some holographic images that portrayed the message of good advice. Advice we had been told in times of trouble by people we trust or just what good advice means to us.
This could work as a range of different creations.
Some of the ideas are below:
Family members (mother, father etc)
Someone in power such as a celebrity or political figure
Someone not necessarily famous but well known through social media
A stranger who’s message has stuck
After exploring all of these options i decided to think of advice that i had been given which hasn’t necessarily worked out as i found it quite ironic which meant it stuck in my mind.
For example i was told London would help me get to where i wanted to be and fulfil my dreams. Instead i left london with LOTS of credit cards and no further forward. I don’t regret it in the slightest and i think the advice to go still helped me as it ruled that out from my life and now i know that wasn’t the right path for me.
I used my photography skills and placed an opaque image in the background of the message. I wanted to do this as i didn’t want the photograph to overpower the message. I also decided to try and play around with the positioning and colour of the text to help the message seem more memorable.
